Chairman of the Board
Dr. Julian Lisinski has worked as a Central Vancouver Island Family physician and ER physician since 1986. Trained at University College and St George's Hospital Medical School in London, England, he graduated in 1976 and holds additional Diplomas in Anaesthesia, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology. He is a Certificant and Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. After four years in rural Manitoba, where he was head of the Departments of Anaesthesia and Obstetrics in Neepawa, Manitoba, he moved to Vancouver Island.
Dr. Lisinski is a founding member of the Verified Team, recognising the need for technological solutions to real-world healthcare problems. Dr. Lisinski is our lead medical expert, providing advice and direction on product development specifically in the healthcare sector.
As our medical advisor, Dr. Lisinski has also played a pivotal role in several healthcare initiatives including a Dermatology/Plastics pilot in British Columbia, a Pharmacovigilence project in conjunction with Bayer Pharmaceuticals with their opthamology drug Eylea, and in Optometry where he successfully managed and directed our digital referal project with the BC Doctors of Optometry.

John Patterson's career spans 35 years in the oil and gas industries, citing leadership roles with international corporations such as NEXEN, Nova, Dome Petroleum, and the Orca Exploration Group. He has acted as CFO, sat on the board of directors, and facilitated most aspects involved with managing the upper levels of international operations, including, but not limited to, strategic global management, corporate governance, country-wide business plans, high-level acquisitions, shaping corporate operations domestically and abroad, and management of assets in excess of $2 billion.
Mr Patterson holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics with Special Honours from Bristol University, and he is a chartered accountant with the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants. Patterson resides with his family in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia. He is a founding member of the advisory board for Verified Network Inc., providing operations and financial advice.
Director
Dr. Michael Greenaway is an optometrist practicing in central Vancouver Island. Dr. Greenaway completed his optometric training and advanced retinal studies in Philadelphia and ocular disease training in North Carolina graduating with clinical honours. Dr. Greenaway has a particular interest in specialty scleral contact lens fitting and anterior segment disease.
Dr. Greenaway completed his Ocular disease training at the Salisbury Veterens Hospital in North Carolina and an advanced retinal studies course headed by renowned retinal specialist Dr.Edward Deglin. Dr. Greenaway graduated with clinical honours from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and after 9 yrs of university training joined Vision Arts in July 2012.
As a director with Verified Network Inc. Dr. Greenaway advises on product development and integration into the Optometry sector, helping Verified provide specialized solutions to real-world problems in the healthcare industry.
Director
Dr. Lloyd qualified from Leicester University Medical School in the UK and trained in General Surgery, becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. During this training, he obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Leicester as a research fellow. In 2004 he became a medicolegal advisor with the Medical Protection Society (MPS) in London, UK. Whilst at MPS he obtained a Master's in Medical Law and Ethics from De Montfort University (UK) and became a part-time lecturer in medical law at the University.
In 2014, Dr. Lloyd moved to Canada and took on the role of Physician Advisor with the CMPA. In 2017 he was one of the founding creators of the CMPA subsidiary company, Saegis. Here, he led the Saegis Safety Institute as Director, creating and delivering programs to help individuals, teams, and organizations with communication, culture, and team working skills.
He has recently trained as a coach through the UBC Organizational Coaching Certificate program and in January 2013 he launched Tom Lloyd Coaching and Consulting to continue his passion for improving the healthcare sector.
Director
Margaret's journey in healthcare started as a Nurse, then a Nurse Manager. She moved to the pharmaceutical industry working her way up to managing a $120 million franchise and then into Medical Devices where she sat on the leadership team, contributing to the strategies that helped the products penetrate the Canadian market.
Margaret has spent time consulting with healthcare businesses and implementing growth strategies. She also worked as the VP of sales and marketing at Joule, a CMA organization before moving to the CEO of Saegis, a CMPA subsidiary, in 2019. In 2022 Margaret was responsible for year-over-year growth of 146% and a business close rate of 25%.
Margaret is no stranger to Boards as she has also sats as a Director on the Board of Parkinson Canada for the last 8 years.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Chapman has been with Verified since 2014 in an operations management role. Since then, he has helped the company to develop several products in the Verified portfolio and is now the CEO.
Mr Chapman is a graduate of Lancaster University and has been an IT professional throughout his career. With a background in network communications, software development, project management and marketing, Mr Chapman is responsible for the strategic vision and roadmap for the Company.
